Green lentil baguette is a snack

Ingredients

Chickpeas – 2 cups
(150 grams)

Green Chillies – 2
Tbs (large)

Onion – 1 bunch (cut
into 2 cups)

Ginger – 2 inches
·
Garlic – 2 cloves
(large)

Garam masala powder
– 1 tbsp
·
Cumin – 1 tbsp
·
Coriander leaves – 2
bunches
·
Curry leaves – 2
strips
·
Mint leaves – 20
counts
·
Salt – required

Groundnut oil –
required amount for frying
- Drain the water from the dal and filter it well.Then add three times as much water as lentils and let it soak for two hours.
- After two hours pour the dal in a strainer and drain until the water is gone.
- Add the drained dal to the mixer and grind it to a fine paste.
- Slice the large onion thinly.
- De-stem the green chillies and grate them.
- Chop the coriander leaves finely.
- Peel and finely chop the curry leaves.
- Peel and finely chop the mint leaves.
- Add coarsely ground gram flour
paste, chopped onion, garam masala powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and cumin
seeds to a medium saucepan.
- Add chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves and mint leaves to it.
- Mix everything together well
- Put the pan in the oven and pour required amount of peanut oil in it and let it dry.
- After some time, take a small portion of the mixed paste and add it to the dry oil. The batter will rise immediately from the oil. This is the correct term.
- Immediately take some flour from the flour mixture and grind it into small pieces and add it to the dry oil.
- Once one side is cooked, flip it over and cook it on the other side.
- Yummy dal pakoda is ready. Serve hot.
